Honestly one of the best professors I had at Smith. Even though attendance isn’t mandatory, almost everyone showed up to every lecture because her classes are just that engaging. Her lectures are highly interactive, and she does an amazing job of turning what can be mundane finance concepts into material that feels applicable and genuinely interesting. There are two exams, and she provides a very helpful Quizlet that you should absolutely use—it makes a big difference. She is incredibly caring and truly makes an effort to get to know each student. I genuinely looked forward to going to her class and would highly recommend her. |

Super fun class. Most interactive and fun class I've taken. Put in the work on the assignments and you'll be fine. Exams are like super easy, but she gives you a quizlet and sample questions that if you know well then you'll be fine. Great person too, really chill and caring. Would HIGHLY recommend. |

You NEED to take a class with her if possible. I didn't even need to take this class and I realized too late and I'm not even upset. She is genuinely so cool and helpful and notices if you put in the effort. 448Y is such an interesting class and i genuinely looked forward to going, definitely my favorite class of college. |

Super nice professor. Her style of teaching keeps students engaged. For a class with no mandatory attendance I’ve never seen so many people show up every time. 95%+ each time. The exams are memorization heavy. But everything else is great. |

Very nice and engaging in class, but way too hard of a grader. The assignments seem like busy work and I don’t think she has a fair grading scale. |
