Both the TA and the professor are very approachable and understanding if you have any concerns/issues. There was a good amount of coursework (discussion readings, quizzes, readings, 2 projects, term paper + pre assignments, 3 midterms, final, clickers) BUT it was all easy or doable. The exams were straightforward if you used his study guides and the content isn't insane. You can use a notecard (personally I fit a lot of the content on it), and he drops the lowest midterm. He posts recordings and drops the 2 lowest scores for things like clickers and quizzes. He also held review sessions for each exam which were helpful if you had any questions. Definitely recommend taking this it was actually an interesting course which I just took for an advanced program requirement. |

I think this is his first semester teaching because he has a hard time explaining concepts sometimes, I think he gets nervous. The course has been easy so far (2nd exam is this thursday) and his exams are easy and fair. He's super nice and approachable and the textbook is easy to follow if his lecture did not make sense. He records the lectures and posts his slides. He posts an exam review pdf that goes over everything that will be on the exam, so as long as you study that you're golden. He also allows a note card to be used for the exam. Overall i'd recommend taking his class! |
