I am so surprised that Professor Joyce got a couple very critical reviews. I actually had him for TWO classes, Comm304 and Comm385 and he was a great professor for both. He would give us just enough homework, he would give us reviews before our quizzes/tests, and in class we would practice for quizzes and upcoming assignments (like our paraphrasing assignments). I just think that overall, hes a great guy, and a good professor for these Comm courses. |

Professor Joyce is a good guy, just grades extremely difficult and his slides there is barely anything on it. Tests are difficult even if you study because the information is so vague. Class is a prereq only reason I took it, would just try to avoid him. |

Dr. Nick is a great guy but as a harsh grader. Overall, if you take time to understand the material you'll be fine. All assignments are online (including exams). However, our class notably performed poor on our online, open note exam which is quite alarming. He does not scale grades much, so don't rely on it. Though, he did for our class due to many exam flaws. Overall a good professor but be ready for many tricky exam questions. |
