He is genuinely one of the worst professors I’ve had. I took his class online, and he mostly just reads directly off the slides with so much additional explanation and likes to yap your ears off. While the quizzes are usually easy, the answers are often not actually covered in his slides, forcing students to do extra research just to figure out whether they even learned the material correctly. He rarely (if ever) responds to emails, cancels class frequently, and still expects students to keep up as if nothing happened. On top of that, he is extremely bad with technology. Many of the quizzes he posts are set to record a score of 0, so even if you earn something like a 4/5, Canvas still shows a zero. Grading is consistently behind, and there is little to no feedback provided on assignments. Overall, I would strongly recommend taking a different professor unless you are okay with disorganization, delayed grading, and minimal guidance. To make matters worse, the course is online, yet the final exam is in person, which makes no sense and adds unnecessary stress. Avoid if possible. |
