He's a great professor. He is very knowledgeable and excited to teach the material (pun not intended). He has live demos of different properties and a guest lecture about ethics at the very end. The grade is composed of a big midterm, weekly homework, a semester long project, and a final. There is a lot of material to understand but he is very helpful and offers office hours twice a week. For the midterm you get an 8x11 cheat sheet front and back as well as a packet of formulas. You also get to use that cheat sheet for the final and an additional one. The midterm and final aren't crazy hard but still difficult (I had to take the makeup which was harder - hence the lower grade). The homework is partially online questions on Wiley Plus - the platform with the textbook, and partially professor composed questions. Work on them with your classmates. |

Basically a confirmation of the review from 2019. Grading is generous as expected of an honors seminar, but the material is no joke. Not gonna lie, I had no idea what was going on for most of the lectures. Material is a little on the boring side unless you either love particle accelerators or you love history. Science history is at least better than your typical history class, and we were able to hear a bunch of very interesting stories, sometimes from guest lecturers. Professor Koeth is a pretty cool person though and very approachable too. |

Easy A, grading is fair. Class is a bit boring though unless you're super into particle accelerators. Also, a bit more advanced physics heavy than expected. |
