Took this class over the winter... really easy way to satisfy the DSNL credit (as a non-science major who was worried about this particular gen-ed requirement). Class was online Monday-Thursday and the labs were Fridays in person (which I kinda enjoyed coming into campus for the labs- it was a nice change of pace). Overall, the assignments were not too difficult, and you can complete most of the work (POGIL exercises) in groups. Had an open note quiz each Friday- if you take notes and bring them you'll be fine. I do feel like I gained more knowledge about insects- would recommend for an easy gen ed DSNL! |
