Dr. Leslie is fantastic. She's very organized and approachable, and all of her lectures are interesting. The material in the class is very practical and often covers things you encounter in everyday life, so it's not hard to participate in discussion. There are two papers and 3 exams, plus readings for each class, but it's all very manageable. Best professor I've had at Maryland. |

The tests might trip you up a little but they are fair. Moderate amount of reading. Dr. Leslie is a fantastic professor. She is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She is each to talk to. I will actually take the things I've learned and apply them to my life. I highly recommend her. |

This review is for Teresa Leslie, not the other Leslie. This class is horrible and so unfair. Her grading is rediculous. The grading data saying that 65% of people get As in this class is not true, atleast not anymore, she may have made the grading more difficult this year. You have to get a 94% in this class to get an A which is impossible with her tests and lab requirements. She is a complete idiot, and can never answer any questions when asked. I am a junior, and an A-B student, and I am barely getting a D. She wont listen to any of your concerns. She shows videos all the time. The lab homeworks are rediculous, like watch a video and write a 4 page single spaced review. She doesnt care about the students learning or grades, she just cares about making the teaching experience easy for her. |
