Being an English major this course was quite different for me. There were many new ideas and terms that I learned throughout the semester. The reading was overall pretty heavy and sometimes difficult. Being in class and participating was key, and it was not an easy course. However, I have never had a professor challenge me to write with as much clarity and meaning as professor Lindemann did. She was also very accessible to help with any questions or concerns. Bottom line: challenging yet rewarding, don't take this course if you don't want to push yourself. |

If you really like to analyze novels and various short stories and poems then get ready for this course. This semester the TA's sucked and I would just be prepared to buy like 8 novels and english majors this is the class for you...also lesbianism is very important in this class because the professor is one...so know your background information!!! |
