The number of times I cried over this class is not justified considering this was supposed to be a gen ed. The quizzes are filled with weird misleading answer choices (and theyre worth 50% of your grade), and discussion participation points get taken off for genuinely no reason. Aside from the actual course structure being far too difficult and time consuming for a gen ed, the TA made it even WORSE! She took off points from my paper after literally giving me the opposite advice of what I should have done during the writing workshop. For discussion participation, she took off points for genuinely no reason; I would come on time, raise my hand and participate, talk in group work, never use my phone, and turn in all free writes. Yet still, deductions. Nothing more to say, literally just save yourself the tears because this TA has got to be a bully atp... |
