The content for FIRE120 is quite easy, though she didn't make it any easier. She provided good feedback and kept the class on topic, but she was surprisingly passive aggressive. At least when asking her for help in person, it felt like she would sneak in a snarky comment after every line of feedback, which is what drops my review to 3 stars. Besides that, though, she's a decent professor. |

Dr. Massey is one of the warmest, kindest, and genuinely interested in your lifest-est professors on campus. If you get the chance to take a class with her and get to know her, you won't forget it. She feels almost like a friend or a colleague---The classroom environment does not feel hierarchical like some professors try to do. All around, she creates the best environment to learn and succeed. |

YESSSSS DR. MASSEY LOVE! Fav prof at UMD. She deserves the world. Super sweet, very straight forwards, loves to teach, really cares about students well-being. Just communicate with her if you struggling and she will do everything in her power to help. 10/10 professor. |

Super nice lady and is really kind. She also takes a great interest into your life. She talks a lot about her political views and even if you agree with her it is still kinda uncomfortable because she can get really aggressive about it. She doesn't grade too hard and her course is fun |
