HUGE JEFF MAYNOR FAN!! I absolutely loved learning golf from him, he reminded me of my old sports coaches. He is fun to talk to and learns everyones name super quickly which is really nice and makes the class that much better. A lot of people are from the same area he's from so its fun having conversations about that! The final is the only assignment and it was a piece of cake (you get told the questions beforehand). Could not recommend more!

Jeff is very friendly. If you like playing golf or want to learn how to play golf, KNES137N or KNES137O with Jeff (he says that both classes are the same) is the perfect choice. He helps you improve your techniques on and teaches you about all the rules and terminology.

Dude is very overrated (I've taken two classes with him in the past 2 years). Switches course material all the time (in terms of lecture topics on certain dates, guest speakers, etc.) so it's pretty hard to maintain organized in the class, barely barely ever gives out material both inside and outside of class, and has a barely above average personality. Literally admitted to us that he was "lazy" in how he taught the course 95% of the way through the semester, wtf lmao?!?! Would give him a 3-3.5/5 but the average so far is very skewed positively so I'm trying to skew it back in the right direction. Easy class for the most part besides the tests but makes it much more messy then it really should be, especially for someone who extremely really likes/prefers organization, proper communication in and out of the classroom, etc. Kind of weird dude if one is being extremely honest to be honest.

This class is awesome, and Jeff is a great teacher! You start the semester out at the driving range, first learning how to swing and hit balls. Then, you move to play 9-holes of golf for about 2-3 weeks on the UMD course. When it turns colder, the class moves inside, and you learn how golf can be used as a business tool. Definitely recommend, though it is hard to get into!

Jeff is extremely down to earth and makes the class very interesting. If you like playing golf or want to learn how to play golf KNES289L is the perfect class and Jeff is the best teacher for it. He basically helps you improve your golf swing hands on and teaches you about all the rules of golf while also teaching about etiquette and business in golf.

first half is at the range and playing 9 at UMD golf course. Next half is in classroom learning about business golf. Definitely my favorite class at UMD.
