Tom is a great teacher, and I highly recommend taking his class. Mechanics was like no other class I have taken so far in college. It's very hands on and a class I had a lot of fun in. If you show up to labs and genuinely just try your best you will get a good grade in his class. He's also a very personable guy and great to talk to if you ever need help. |

TOM IS THE BEST, I have nothing but good words to say for this professor! I highly recommend taking his courses as it doesn't even feel like a class. I would have no problems spending my time here on the weekends as well. He was not only an incredible professor but what felt like a great friend. This immersive learning experience was by far my favorite at UMD so far! |

I don’t even know where to start—Tom is an amazing professor! He truly cares about his students as individuals and makes the class an incredibly enjoyable experience. I had ZERO prior experience with any of the subjects covered, but I had so much fun learning everything from welding and metalworking to electricity, plumbing, and woodworking. If I could take this class again, I absolutely would. It’s one of the most valuable classes you’ll ever take because the skills you learn will stay with you for the rest of your life. Tom makes every lesson engaging and practical, and you’ll walk away with skills you’ll actually use in the real world. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Tom is easily the best professor I have ever had, makes the class very enjoyable and understands nobody has experience with this stuff. I came into this class very skeptical(especially about it being 3hrs) on non lab days its usually 1hr or less and its actually a really fun class which doesn't even really feel like class more like a club but gives you free credits. |

Tom may objectively be the best teacher at UMD. One of my top 3 favorite for certain and I've had some really good ones. |

loved this class. Tom is great. very clearly cares for all his students. I hope I can take more classes with Tom in the future. exams are online and open note. attendance is necessary due to the nature of the class. just show up and you'll do fine. lots of extra credit opportunities. |

BEST TEACHER EVER! It is so obvious that he cares about his students and the material he is teaching. Take INAG250, and you will not regret it. You learn so much valuable information that otherwise would have been hard to learn. You don't need any background knowledge for the class. If you are struggling with an assignment, he will go out of his way to help you understand it. Tom is very patient, kind, has a good sense of humor, and creates a welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 recommend! |

I can not say enough about Tom and this class. The class material was extremely engaging and taught valuable skills. Tom himself is very personable, will spend extra time with you if you need help or advice. He made an amazing class even better. I recommend to every single student that they need to take this class, they will not regret it. Any time I see him now around campus he always says hi and asks how I'm doing. Tom deserves all the credit in the world for being a wonderful professor and person. |

While this class was a challenge for me, Tom prepared us well for the various labs we completed and was always willing to answer questions. There are a lot of different components to this course (welding, metalworking, technical drawing, electricity, plumbing, woodworking, tool sharpening, and even concrete), but now that it's all said and done, I stand back and say "wow, I did that!". I'm so happy I took this course. The course put aside, I really appreciated the personal connection Tom made an effort to form with all of us. As simple as it sounds, he addressed me by name and asked me how I was doing every single class period. You don't find that type of genuine reception everyone on campus, and it was a nice change of pace. |

Tom should be registered as a living agriculture mechanics encyclopedia! His knowledge and expertise is vast and impressive. Without a doubt, Professor Mazzone's INAG250 Fundamentals of Agriculture Mechanics course has been my most favorite (and beneficial) course I've taken at this university, and I'm not even an Ag major. The skills I've learned in this course will benefit me for a lifetime! The course put aside, Mr. Mazzone has the biggest, most understanding heart of any professor on this campus. He cares deeply about his students and went out of his way to make us all feel valued, empowered, and safe. He is a true treasure to the UMD campus. |

Mr. Mazzone is extremely knowledgeable and a phenomenal person. He consistently made himself available outside of class time and always went out of his way to make me feel more than just a number at this massive university. Whether you’re interested in Agriculture or not, I hands down guarantee that you’ll gain knowledge from his Ag Mechanics class that will serve you a lifetime. This was definitely my most favorite course to date. |
