She’s honestly one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She’s a senior economist at the Federal Reserve, so she constantly brings in real-world experience, which makes the class way more interesting. Plus, she remembered my name from the first week, which is pretty cool. The class itself is super manageable: just 1 three-hour lecture a week, no homework, and about 1 in-class assignment (~3-4 questions) every week. She brings snacks for us because of the long lecture too. There are two midterms and one final, with 1 cheat sheet allowed (front and back). The exams aren't hard: there are bonus questions for extra points, and more than enough time (you get about 3 hours but the midterms only takes ~1 hour to finish). For the first midterm, the average was a 91%. As long as you pay attention in class, it’s pretty low commitment low stress. Only possible downside is that she cold calls, but she is super nice/polite about it if you don't know the answer. What really makes her stand out is how much she cares about her students. She actually enjoys teaching and goes out of her way to help us. She gives job-hunting advice, offers to look at our resume, and even offers to write recommendations for grad school. She’ll even mentioned referring students for jobs at the Fed, which is amazing. I’ve learned a lot in this class, and I’d definitely recommend it!

She is amazing! She cares about her students and does her best to get to know you/remember everyone's name. She really tries to keep the class interactive and even brings snacks for her students since the class time is kinda long. She's really knowledgeable in what she teaches and make sure her students follow and understand the topics she goes over. She calls on students to solve problems on the board but she will help you if you need. Everyone will get called on so there's no escaping it. The quizzes are typically 4-5 questions but they're are very straight forward if you pay attention in class, and its open notes too. I would definitely take her again.
