Dr.McQuarrie is one of the sweetest professors I've taken at UMD! Lectures are interesting and she does a good job of trying to find video content for lectures to help make the experience of different disorders more relatable and understandable. Exams are all multiple choice and very easy- if you've attended class you should be able to get a good grade pretty easily. Other than exams, the only other things you are graded on are writing assignments and attendance checks, both are fairly simple to complete. This class was easy but the information is still valuable and interesting, and Dr. McQuarrie is a lovely person and a professor who has the wellbeing of her students in mind. |

Dr. Crowell McQuarrie sets clear expectations from the start. This professor had so much insight and passion on the subjects she was teaching. The exams were pretty straightforward and the questions are derived from the lectures. The assignments were thought-provoking but nothing too challenging, especially since the rubric was clear. Grades in a timely manner. Overall, a knowledgeable and caring professor! |

She is absolutely amazing and this is my favorite class I have taken at UMD. I would take her again if she taught more undergraduate classes. The exams are very straightforward and she will even drop questions if most students get them wrong. There is extra credit offered, and two writing assignments. I would recommend this professor to anyone! |
