Abby Melick CHEM132 Expecting an A xdecal 11/21/2025	The absolute best TA. No idea if she's going to be a TA for the spring semester but she was genuinely so helpful during lab. She made labs easier considering how horrible the lab coordinator is, and how poorly the course is designed. She sent out wrap up slides every week (which many other TAs don't do!) which were incredibly helpful when completing the post labs. This course is absoltely dependent on your TA; if you have Abby you're gonna be fine, hope she stays.
Abby Melick CHEM132 Expecting an A Anonymous 11/18/2025	99% sure she's graduating, but in the off chance she ever comes back to UMD to teach or something, or even in the case that she searches her name randomly on here one day, I felt the need to write this review. Abby is the chillest, most helpful TA I've had by a long shot. She includes pre-lab and wrap up slides which essentially none of the other 132 TAs do, or so I've heard from friends in other sections (I send them the slides every week because they're so helpful when it comes to decoding the awful lab manual/instructions). If we have questions she's always available to answer them, and I'm genuinely sad that I'll have to deal with different TAs that are surely less understanding and chill. If you have her this spring (if she's still a TA) you got super lucky!
