I'm so crushed. I'm taking the three week class and I really enjoy the topics and the readings, but I haven't been able to keep up and I think I'm going to fail. This class requires around 250 pages of extremely dense readings a week and four 500-word essays that prove that you have read the topics. I've been in the library everyday for around 8-hours and I am still missing 4 assignments. |

Dr. Messing is a wonderful professor. For me, doing readings can be hard sometimes, because I read very slowly. But I actually found myself enjoying while doing the readings. Readings provided by Dr. Messing are worth to read. She also cares about students discussion posts as she gives responses to them. Conversations with her are very comfortable. She’s definitely the one professor you would like to have further discussions with, and without worries. Especially, I gained so much knowledge from her while taking ANTH473, and she’s one of my favorite professors at umd. |
