Reza is... not a good professor. He is dreadfully boring and fails to create an engaging classroom. His lecture materials are basically stolen directly from textbooks and he gives little else in terms of assistive learning material. The material covered is appropriate for the scope of the course but again, it is easier to read the textbook than it is to sit through one of his lectures. Truthfully, it seems like when he lectures he has only a tenuous grasp of the material. The only thing interesting about his class was when he discusses his research in medical robotics. His assignments and exams are well constructed, challenging but fair, and useful as project exhibitions to prospective employers. But given how he uses his teaching assistants to give 1/3 of every lecture covering material pertaining directly to the assignments, I doubt he really constructs the assignments himself either. Easy grader. Bad professor. |
