Koki is nice, however NICE DOES NOT EQUATE TO A GOOD PROFESSOR. He is terribly disorganized and does not have any idea of how the structure of the course works. I understand he has a bit of a language barrier, however he CANNOT articulate the course material effectively. He made all the groups redo completely the group project 3 different times because he could not make up his mind on what he wanted from us. Also his exams were overly specific on random topics of material. I WISH GARY COHEN STILL TAUGHT THIS COURSE. Koki is neither engaging nor a professor I found to learn meaningful content from. Really nice guy, very smart and knowledgeable. Final was ridiculously difficult, especially for a one-credit. He said that he didn't curve, but my raw score in the class was an 83.5, and I ended up with an A, but I wouldn't expect that anymore, with the business school ratcheting up it's expectations. Just read the case studies, show up to every class, and get ready for a tough final. Good luck! |

professor is a nice person. he's understanding and always willing to help. exams are difficult. you need to read the textbook and know the powerpoint slides inside and out to do well on the exams... bleh. this class is a challenge but i dont think it's impossible to do well. extra credit assignment worth 2% to the final grade. group project. one individual case study due. if you do bad on this one, he gives you a second chance with an optional case study. he gives practices quizzes. the questions are: which of these statements are false? which of these statements are not false?... i didnt find the quizzes helpful for the obvious reason. |

Prof. Nagata is awesome. He always smiles and is willing to listen to students. He teaches classes by powerpoints. Do go to the class and take notes especially when he gives answers to the questions on the powerpoints. The class can be boring sometimes but the material he covered in class will be on the exam. The two exams can be challenge. Focus more on the powerpoints and lectures notes and less on the book for exam preparation. I didn't like the course at first because I am an International student and don't have much knowledge about supply chain management. Mr. Nagata gives me a lot of help.He is the best prof. I have ever had. |
