KNES354 Expecting an A Anonymous 08/04/2025 |
I took this course over a 3 week span in the summer. It's interesting, but to be completely honest most of the content is rather intuitive and self explanatory, but I will say Professor Nagle is a really chill and understanding dude. Discussion posts, quizzes and a final paper account for the entirety of the course, with each being weighed at 33%. The discussion posts and quizzes are basically a free 100%, so as long as you don't bomb the final paper, you should get an A in the course. However, don't think the final paper is a cake walk - it needs to be 10-15 pages, and the average was a 70/90 in the summer class. On the bright side, as long as you did the peer reviews you got a free 10/10 in the final paper section (so I ended up with an 80% in this section and 100% in the discussion and quiz sections). Taking that into account, as long as you take his advice and do the work for the final paper, you'll easily get an A. My final verdict is that it's a really chill class and a nice GPA booster but don't expect to come out of this course with much more than a GPA booster and maybe a little bit more than baseline knowledge in sports finance. |
