She's literally amazing. That's all I can say about her. She really wants you to succeed and doesn't make you do more than you need to. You're allowed to use note cards on speeches, so there's no need to memorize every little thing. I felt my public speaking improve over the semester, and she helped me feel confident of my own voice. I used to be really shy but something about being in her class helped me improve bit by bit. If you want a fun and quirky professor, she's the one! |

I came into this class extremely nervous and not motivated to do public speaking but Emma made this class so enjoyable and friendly. Makes everyone extremely comfortable, makes a fairly boring class extremely entertaining and makes you feel good about all the work you put in. At the end of the semester she told us she was so proud of all of us and how much we grew as students over the semester and I truly will miss having her as a professor. Take her class because no other teacher can teach it better than her! |

Emma is so kind and made this class way more fun than I expected. I definitely improved my skills a ton! You can tell she truly cares and wants nothing but for you to succeed. Could not have asked for a better professor! |

LOVE LOVE LOVE HER. Would highly recommend her for comm107. She is extremely understanding and kind and wants everyone to feel comfortable. Made what is usually a boring gen ed an interesting, fun, and relaxing class. She is a great person and always makes you feel good and confident about your work. Could not imagine a better prof for this course, and have not heard of one. Take her for any class if you can. |

Emma was awesome! Super interesting material and she was very well informed and passionate about the subject. Safe classroom to ask questions and discuss topics from class we agreed or disagreed with. Highly recommend taking a class with her, and COMM324 was fun. |

Emma is an amazing instructor. She can be very quirky and listen in to conversations and laugh at them, she is so funny and makes the class entertaining. She takes a lot of feedback and listens, changing the workload and breaks it down, always wanting to help. She is also super smart! Amazing professor, take her every time! |
