For Carillon Community students taking IDEA101, Professor Louisa is a pretty good choice. First, regarding the classroom experience: IDEA101 is inherently a practical rather than academic course. Louisa's classes are highly engaging, with students grouped for various activities related to cognitive training and creative design. She encourages active participation and often brings snacks to class. Even if your involvement is not extensive, Louisa doesn't harshly judge your Participation Grade. Secondly, concerning assignments, Louisa is lenient in grading. As long as you submit something with meaningful content, you'll likely receive full or near-full marks. Moreover, if you happen to submit assignments a couple of days late, Louisa will still grade them and provide a respectable score, as long as it's not significantly overdue (like more than a week). Regarding discipline: Louisa doesn't enforce strict classroom rules. She won't mandate carrying notebooks or writing assignments in them. Given that the course revolves around thinking and creativity, Louisa places more emphasis on your participation and ideas. As for exams: there are none in this course. In summary, Louisa is an amiable professor and a lenient grader. Her IDEA101 section is definitely worth participating in!
