Very blunt and often comes off as rude. She told us once that we didn't know basic English. Another time, we had to meet with her, one-on-one, over zoom for a conference and she never showed up. I had to email her (even though I wasn't the one at fault) and she didn't respond for an hour. She never apologized or had any excuse for why she basically ghosted me. She also has no idea how to use canvas. Her page was difficult to navigate and when you finally found what you were looking for, the links often did not work. She also edited the agenda and in-class assignments the morning of class and couldn't figure out multiple necessary canvas features. Going to class was usually pretty useless as she would want us to review the slides beforehand and then she would ask us what was on the slides to write on the board. She rarely elaborated beyond the content of the slides so you basically would teach yourself. |

She's a fair teacher, but it's impossible to actually like get a 100%. She's the exact personification of the "mean old high school English teacher". The class is meaningless (she just reads from slides), and so are the assignments. She's a very "my way or the highway" teacher. |

Give her a chance. At the start of the semester, I thought she was dry, blunt, and distant. As the course progressed, I came to realize she really did care about her students and wanted everyone to do well. She just doesn't tolerate when people don't follow directions. This class ended up becoming one of my favorites I've taken! |

To me, she comes off as distant and judgmental. She writes comments/annotations for your essays very bluntly. She's not very talkative and pretty much reads off her slides in class. Boring as hell. |

very reasonable grader. If you do the work you should easily be able to get an A. Class its self is rather boring and a number of times she just had us do homework during class |
