Stefano is possibly the chillest professor I have ever taken. His lectures are interesting and he keeps the class engaging with guest speakers and group presentations. The entire class consists of a weekly slide post, your group presentation, and your research paper and that is it. Going into this class, I found art theory to be kind of useless and dumb. I still think it is kind of useless, but rather than dumb I do find it kind of interesting, especially when applied to things I know like video games and movies or TV. My section of the group presentation was literally about Dungeons & Dragons, Baldur's Gate 3, and 5D Chess with Multiverse Time Travel, and Stefano said my presentation was great. I think as long as you put a bit of work in and show some legitimate thought, Stefano will be impressed. You can also mention a banana selling for 6.2 million dollars if you want to see him chuckle. (We may have duct taped dozens of bananas to the wall on the last day of class before he arrived)

Passeri is a great professor and he made this class really engaging and interesting. This is a very art and media studies based course, so the content was definitely very thought provoking for me. Basically, each week we had to complete a reading (which was usually really long) and submit a slide post of something that reflected the topic of the reading. The readings were usually really academic, so it made it hard to understand what the author really meant. In lecture, he would discuss the reading in a much more digestible way and open the class up for discussion. I felt kind of bad that I didn't participate much but you definitely should because it's truly just chill discourse with the class. He would also have guest speakers who had extremely interesting areas of study. The other assignments included a group presentation on a reading and a final paper with any topic (related to the class) of your choosing. In the end, this class is super interesting and one of the best courses I've taken so far.
