Dr. Pate is a goated professor and I really wish she taught more classes. She is very clear and fair about what she expects from her students. As long as you put a tiny bit of effort in, you'll be getting an A. I highly recommend taking a class with her |

Dr. Pate is incredible. She knows what she's talking about, always gets to the point, and develops a rapport with her students that is genuine and no nonsense at the same time. She frequently ends class early and facilitates group work frequently. If you enjoy your group, the class will be a blast. If not, it might not be your favorite. Regardless, Dr. Pate is a fair grader, clearly outlines all expectations, and knows what she's talking about. Take her class! |

Dr. Pate is great! She provides very clear lectures and also uploads all of the slides from class onto canvas. This class consists of three small homework assignments (with topics that you can pick), a group paper and presentation, and then a mid-term and final that were both online and open note. She's super approachable and really seems like she wants the best for her students. |

Absolutely loved this class. Professor Pate is a great lecturer, is very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject, and her seminar-based class was very informative. She clearly cared about each of her students and made sure that they understood each topic we covered. After the midterm, the class shifts into group work for the final project and we are walked through each aspect of the final project and then given inclass time to work with our groups. Would most definitely take another class with Professor Pate. |
