Taina is so great at making class something I look forward to. She always takes into account students' interests and needs, and provides amazingly detailed feedback to our writing. I was never worried about my grade in this course, and so I was really able to focus on improving my writing and experimenting with new formats. She's such a genuine person that clearly values students' education and wellbeing, and she always made class a low-stress environment for both workshopping and more lecture-focused days. I am honestly so glad I took this course! |

Great professor and person. Chill about extensions and late work but still provides constructive feedback to improve your writing. Really cares about creating a personal connection with her students, clearly sees us as individuals instead of just a class that she has teach. |
