Taina Patmore ENGL101 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/14/2025	Amazing professor. In Taina's class, I always felt welcome. It was very easy to talk to her whenever you had an issue with a grade or some sort of assignment, she created an environment where English101 was actually fun, and honestly I never liked english, but I would retake this class if it was with her. She was a very fair grader, she offers good constructive criticism while not actually killing your grade for one mistake. She is very sweet and clearly cares about her students. If you are taking English101, take it with her, you will not regret it
Taina Patmore ENGL101 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/09/2025	Great professor! She is super nice, her class is interesting, and she is very easy to reach out to. if you are not confident in your writing and take this class seriously you will definitely improve. Contrary to what another person said, I think that her grading is very fair, and you will get out exactly what you put in. Smaller assignments almost always build up to the major ones in a helpful way. You are allowed to use material from past assignments and copy paste into current ones. Attendance is mandatory, but she is super chill about it. Miss a class here and there and it won't matter, especially if you reach out and communicate with her. I emailed her the other day asking if I could miss class because I had stuff to do and she was fine with it.

She is good at teaching her subject, not work heavy, very chill, and easy to reach out to. She is very forgiving with deadlines and will give you extensions. However you feel about English, you will like this prof. Gives great feedback.
Taina Patmore ENGL101 Expecting a B Anonymous 11/30/2025	Nice professor, but an EXTREMELY harsh grader. If you're taking the course as a gen ed purely to pass, and put basic effort in, you'll fail. The course is a lot of busy work, and she loads a lot of small, meaningless assignments. Attendance is also mandatory.
Taina Patmore ENGL272 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/09/2025	Taina is so great at making class something I look forward to. She always takes into account students' interests and needs, and provides amazingly detailed feedback to our writing. I was never worried about my grade in this course, and so I was really able to focus on improving my writing and experimenting with new formats. She's such a genuine person that clearly values students' education and wellbeing, and she always made class a low-stress environment for both workshopping and more lecture-focused days. I am honestly so glad I took this course!
Taina Patmore ENGL272 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/01/2025	Great professor and person. Chill about extensions and late work but still provides constructive feedback to improve your writing. Really cares about creating a personal connection with her students, clearly sees us as individuals instead of just a class that she has teach.
