I had Dr. Prior for 360 and immediately wanted to take him again. His expectations are clear and fair for this course. He is very approachable and personable. We received all necessary sources to succeed in this class, including the weekly article summaries. The article summaries were used for the projects, which also had very clear expectations and was a very fair assignment. Overall 460 was a very interesting and well-structured course and I'm very glad I got to take it with Dr. Prior!

I had Dr. Prior for both 460 and 360 and he was great for both. I really liked how he went through his lectures by posing questions and letting us think through the material we were learning in order to understand how things like muscles, bones, and aerobic capacity would change with aging and how physical activity would impact this. We had weekly article summaries and the presentation was essentially an article summary but more in-depth. Definitely recommend this class

DR. Prior is great! i never had him for knes360, but with knes340 he was super chill. THere were weekly article summaries throughout the semester and small quizzes. We just had one big presentation, a short exercise prescription paper, a mid term (closed note), and final (take home- open note). The class was super interesting and you really only needed to show up to do well.

Dr. Prior is a great professor! KNES360 is a rougher class because there is a lot of information to learn, you have to dedicate time to studying for a good grade, but he is a FAIR professor. I felt the questions he asked on both exams and quizzes were fair and things he either had on his lecture slides, repeatedly said in class, or even straight up had as review questions. He records all of his lectures & releases them, which was so helpful because going back and re-watching lectures was a big factor in my getting an A as it's hard to take in and understand everything the first go around. He dedicates the lecture class right before the exam as a review day which I HIGHLY recommend going to as the condensed slides of main points are nice & he does point solutions practice questions that really helped prepare for the exam. Your grade is made up of 3 lecture exams, 6 lecture quizzes (3 in-person & 3 online), almost weekly pre-lab quizzes, 5 lab reports (done individually not as a group- so it is very time-consuming), and 2 lab practicals. All your lab stuff is graded by the TA- all of them seem pretty nice. I had Kyle and he was a fair grader. Dr. Prior was always willing to help and meet to answer questions I had before exams as well as explain my test and why some answers were wrong. He’s also a pretty understanding guy. I’d definitely take another class of his, had no problem- is a pretty straightforward professor.
