Dr. Ranadive is a great guy and a great professor. His lectures are a little odd because his notes general don't have bulleted lists but show figures from studies. The exams for this course are pretty much fully based on the studies you talk about and backing up your claim. He is a great guy and its clear he wants to get students interested in research |

Dr. Ranadive is awesome! I also had him for knes360 and the content is super hard, but I really liked his teaching style. I will say the quizzes/ "exams" are multi-question short answers. They are definitely hard since his slides are often pretty vague. If you go to class and take notes you wont have a problem. BE SURE TO WRITE DOWN THE STUDIES/ARTICLES he describes in class. There are also debates that act as quizzes and you really just need to show up to get credit. I swear the man doesnt like to lecture because i think we had a total of 5 actual lectures of him just talking the whole time. Start the essays and written assignments earlier than you think because he grades based off of how specific you describe the mechanisms. Overall a really interesting class and he gives the students alot of choice on how the class is formatted. The final is optional also. |

Dr. Ranadive is a great professor, who helps answer and clarify any questions by students. His exams are straight forward as he does not try to trick any students. He makes the class extremely interesting, relating concepts to relevant topics. He is an extremely fair professor. |

awful teacher. Not helpful at all. I would email him constantly asking for advice and he would never help. Take any other teacher besides him. I feel like he over complicates concepts so much so that its making me question things i already know. I would have been better off not listening to his lectures and just learning from the book and from basic anatomy and physiology class. |
