ENGL346 Expecting an A- Anonymous 05/29/2024 |
His lectures were unbearably boring and most of the readings were too. There was also a lot of readings so make sure you look ahead on the syllabus bc some of them might take more than one night. The assignments weren't too bad though and so while I wouldn't particularly recommend him, if you end up with him you can definitely be successful. |

His lectures are quite boring. Unless you're already interested in the subject he is discussing you will probably have a hard time paying attention. Other than that, though, he seems rather friendly and reasonable. He's a fair grader, too. |

Richardson is a great teacher. He doesn't expect a lot and understands the stress of college. A very relatable, understanding, and intelligent professor. Take him if you have the opportunity but his classes fill up fast. |

This class was very boring, and all he did was lecture to us. But, at the same time the book Ulysses is very dense and there is really no other way to teach it. If you can stand the boredom it is a pretty easy class and he is a very very easy grader. |

This guy is a bit of an oddball. I had high hopes for this class, but the lectures were so boring I just couldn't stay interested in the texts. He definitely knows a lot about modern and postmodern literature and had interesting interpretations, but the way he runs the class was slow-paced and not engaging. It probably did not help having the class at the end of my day from 2-3:15. The midterm was pretty easy, and the final was a set of take-home essays. Other than that we had a couple of homework assignments and two papers that were no longer than 7-8 pages each. It was not a hard class, just really really dull sometimes. |
