Gabi was my TA for ARTH261. She consistently made discussions engaging through creative activities (e.g. pictionary) that helped solidify the concepts taught in lecture. I actually enjoyed attending discussion section because of her. Beyond that, she is extremely approachable, and it always felt easy to go up to her with questions or to talk through ideas. She's very supportive during class discussions, building on what students have said, connecting comments to the broader themes being taught, or just acknowledging a point with genuine enthusiasm. As someone who is pretty shy, I found it much easier to participate in discussion because of this welcoming environment Gabi created. She is also incredibly responsive via email and provided thoughtful feedback on my essays.

I took ARTH261 last semester with Gabi as my TA, so I haven't had her as a professor. However, the lectures she did give were very interesting, and I wouldn't have earned the grade I did in the class without her. For reference, I got a 66 on the first exam but ended the class with a ~95 because of the help she gave me during her office hours and discussion sections. If you're willing to put in the effort, Gabi will help you succeed. Definitely take a class with her if you're on the fence.

Gabi was my TA for ARTH261 and overall I'd highly recommend her. She is very inclusive and friendly which makes a great space for discussion; an aspect of class she places a lot of emphasis on. In the past, I have had discussion based classes where the professor did not do a good job of fostering discussion and it made the class very boring so I'm glad Gabi did a great job with this. She also speaks enthusiastically on her topics and when she teaches so that's very nice for maintaining focus during class. Once again, highly recommend, especially if you enjoy discussions and hearing the perspectives of your classmates. If you don't like talking to people I would still recommend Gabi's class as the space is very welcoming which makes it easy to feel okay with making mistakes.

Gabby was my TA for ARTH261 and she was amazing. She was always very understanding, her discussion activities were actually fun and engaging, and she's funny to add the cherry on top. You can't really go wrong taking a class with her she is very understanding and gives actionable feedback.

I had Gabi as my TA last semester for ARTH261, and she was extremely helpful throughout the entire semester! I took this class for my gen ed requirement, and having her as a TA is probably the only reason I did nearly as well as I did. She was always available for questions, additional help, and explained extremely in depth during discussion sections. She also taught a few lessons in lecture that were pretty interesting, even to someone who never expected to take an Art History course before. Overall, I had a great experience, and I recommend her to anyone who may be interested in her course!
