She's a really good teacher. No homework and only real commitment is to take notes (You will need them for the timed quizzes.) She gives you three 15-minute quizzes every two weeks I believe but they weren't hard and she drops the lowest. You do have a final project where she pairs you up with someone from a google sheet and it was a good idea because personally, I didn't talk to anyone there. Its a Tues/Thursday class so if you need to take an easy I-series gened this is your class fr. |

Passed it with a C-, honestly could've passed with a high B if I actually tried on the midterm, only because I never came to lectures and didnt know until after the midterm that she uses the same material from the slides on the test. But after our midterm, I felt the class was easy, took this for the spring 2023 and i give 5 stars because shes just one of those classes that are chill, does have a group project but honeslty you can just ask in the groupme who doesnt have a partner and boom easy since no one really talked but her in the class |

Fairly good Gen-Ed with interesting information, especially the readings that were assigned. Nonetheless, she never had rubrics or clarity for assignments, dropping requirements for them sometimes weeks after she had announced them. Overall she seemed very unorganized regarding what she wanted from projects and struggled to communicate what she would like students to do. Overall good lectures and interesting use of different mediums like films, videos, power points and others to explore issues, but simply lacked organization. |

easiest class ive taken this semester. im a junior and a CS major and i actually felt like this class was my free time tbh only downside is you HAVE to come to class bc she doesnt post like slides or ask a friend to send them to you because you will need the notes for the midterm, she had 3 quizzes and each was based off the notes word by word so having them def will come in handy, she has a final project where you pick a partner or she picks for you and its easy if you choose to do the 7 min podcast, shes really nice and its a small class but you only meet twice a week. we did have a final but again based on the notes and the questions were the same as the midterm, she gives you 10 and you pick 3 to answer. highest would be a A and lowest maybe a C+ |

really easy gen-ed tbh, her class is very high maintenance so remember to read over the slides, she is one of those if you miss a class it's not a big deal you know bc she posts the slides. What I would say is please review slides when doing quizzes as she worlds the, very difficult and they are most of your grade. The midterm is very iffy because you have to write down a lot even with not a lot of material. As a person, she's super nice 5/5 and as a professor, I would give it a 3/5. Honestly dont expect a A, B is the highest you will get but also no lower than a C- . |

The material we covered was interesting but very general as we were covering all of Latin America. The major issues are the professor lacks good communication on assignments, didn't want to give rubrics for assignments, and did not seem open to feedback for improvement. The quizzes are pretty simple but the graded assignments are not as her instructions were confusing. There is one midterm exam and the final is a project worth 40 percent of the grade. |

Honestly she's a chill teacher, as a person she is really nice which is why I give her 3 stars. But as a teacher.... let's just say if you're not paying attention you won't really understand her accent and at the same time her grading is really not great. Also, make sure to make friends in her class to help each other out! |
