Professor Soares is really nice and you can tell she cares and puts work into the lectures she does. Class consists of a few quizzes, a midterm, book club activities and a final museum reflection. Overall, not bad at all. Participation is also a decent amount of your grade, so participating in class is very important. Overall, if you’re interested in history and need the gen ed, not a bad pick at all. |

really sweet & nice professor that doesn't bombard you with busywork. Lectures weren't overly boring and was overall a delightful experience. Take this class with her for the GenEd or as an elective! Class felt comfortable and not forced at all. The only downside was that participation (raising your hand) was 30% of your grade. I'm sure she'll tweak that and lower it for future semesters. |
