Xinyi Song Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/08/2025	Professor Song is super kind and generous with points as well as assignment deadlines. She is super chill and you don’t need to show up to class. There are some quizzes on the textbook so if you just take notes on the textbook instead of going to class you’ll be fine. Apparently someone said she uses AI for feedback on our presentations but I never noticed that. I personally found all the feedback to be super helpful as she would normally leave at least a paragraph including things you did well and what you could improve on. She can sometimes be a bit hard to listen to as she stutters a lot (English isn’t her native language) which always makes me feel bad but other than that she’s great.
Xinyi Song COMM107 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/13/2024	Professor Song is very understanding with assignment deadlines, especially if you cannot present in class due to sickness or stress caused by an exam. Overall, the class is very chill! I would recommend it, as long as you communicate your circumstances and concerns with her you will be great.

Xinyi Song COMM107 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/04/2024	Professor Song is a good COMM107 professor. She is a very lenient grader. She teaches the class exactly to the syllabus. She is hard to understand sometimes but if you just do the assignments as per the directions on ELMS and put effort into your presentations, COMM107 with Song is an easy A. There are weekly quizzes on ELMS that the answers are easily found in the text book, which you can find online. The only reason why she isn't getting 5 stars is because classes can be confusing. I recommend this class with Song.

Xinyi Song COMM107 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 11/25/2024	Serena is a very nice instructor and tries to make the class as easy as possible. She is also understanding and will let you do your speech online/pre-recorded if you have a legit reason. She grades pretty easy/fairly as well, since she knows the students there are just trying to get a requirement in, and definitely gives more straightforward assignments than some of the other COMM/INAG professors I know of. Would definitely recommend
