Veronica Sousa ANTH323 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/11/2025	I am a public health science major so Professor.Sousa’s class is an elective for me. The class was a nice break from my major classes and it just further shows you the implications of racism, colonialism, etc on disease, epidemics, etc. The course doesn’t have many assignments and she allows you to submit assignments until the last day of finals. The lectures are recorded and the PowerPoints are uploaded. For the assignments just follow the rubric and you will be okay.
Veronica Sousa ANTH323 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/03/2025	I love Veronica. She is so sweet and never gets frustrated with students. Often moves class onto Zoom if she can't make it. There's only like two assignments in the whole semester, but she lets you submit until the end of the semester and you can also resubmit if you don't like your grade. Not gonna lie, don't really pay attention in class because there is no incentive to (NOT COMPLAING THOUGH); for example, you're not quizzed on anything, you don't need to do any assignments. The information is actually quite interesting though. She assigns readings and things, but I don't do them and she rarely brings them up. Don't buy any of the books, you'll never need it and she's never mentioned it. I have had genuine conversations with her outside of class time and she is so sweet.
Veronica Sousa ANTH323 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/09/2024	such a helpful teacher! she records all the lectures (so going is optional..) and is super helpful if you need help with papers, you can email her and she is usually very quick. she also lets you submit assignments up until the end of the semester and is very lenient! take this class with her!!
