Overall, this is an easy course. There are graded in-class assignments, weekly quizzes, two reflections, a presentation, a midterm, a health data project, and the final, and everything is open note except for the midterm. The content can be repetitive but is overall useful. Dr. Steinberg is knowledgeable and flexible, but she is not the most engaging professor and she is also super quiet so maybe sit at the front if you want to hear. |

Dr. Steinberg is sweet and does care for her students. In terms of content, FMSC310 is alike many public health courses so it gets a little boring and repetitive, but it is specific to maternal/child health. The class is an easy A as long as you do the work. There are weekly assignments/discussions along with a midterm, final, and a "paper" that summarizes health data, but it is really easy. Please don't take her class if you aren't willing to participate in class discussions, it gets incredibly boring when the same 4 people speak up the entire semester. Like please... you're in college either participate or don't come to class at all. |

Great course and super interesting topics, but she’s not a good lecturer and has an attitude when answering questions. Take with another professor and you’ll actually learn the concepts |

Sweetest and most understanding professor I have had at Maryland. You can tell she really wants you to succeed. Interesting material and easy exams! Def take if you are going into a health profession. |
