The delivery of the content in this class is terribly mundane, which sucks because the topics being taught are pretty cool. She gives pop quizzes and drops one (who the hell still does that) to crack on attendance. So if you often skip class, then your grade is pretty cooked. Your grade also depends on your lab assignments, so you'll either have a really nitpicky TA or your TA is chill. Unfortunately mine was way too picky, even though they were nice. One of the lab days required actual attendance, and you cannot make those points up or have a make-up assignment even if you have an excused assignment (like wtf lmao). Exams were easy, but I had ADS, which meant extended time and the quiz was still set to 50 minutes for me, which was not accommodating at all. I finished, and she sent an email to those affected but I don't know how their grade turned out right after adjusting. Overall mid professor and the assignments are annoying. Find someone else. |
