Tashiro is a great lecturer. He has somewhat of a thick accent which can be kind of hard to understand, but he is happy to repeat, rephrase, or write things down because he genuinely values his students' success and engagement in the course. All of the exams and assignments were take-home and he gives lecture notes and online tools to help, which was very helpful and definitely saved my grade. I personally had a very hard time grasping the actual concepts of the course, but Tashiro and my TA were always happy to answer questions and clarify. |

He loves his chinchilla, will wear only chinchilla shirts, and can be a bit hard to understand. All exams were done outside the classroom. prety solid, wuld recommend. |

Great lecturer, can be a bit hard to understand but he wants you to succeed and all the exams were take-home. If you have any questions just ask him, great guy who loves when students are engaged. |

One of the best professors I've ever had. At first the class may seem intimidating but Masayuki really makes the course and overall subject of logic very interesting and approachable. All homework and exams are take home and easy to complete based on the class handouts. Overall a great professor and is very understanding and patient if you come with questions or ask for explanations on any of the topics. |

Best TA ever. Super helpful and very clear. He'll worry about his accent getting in the way but it doesn't. |
