He honestly goes out of his way to help his students. His exams are straightfoward, and he typically follows directly from the textbook. Definitely would take him again.

Straightforward exams, neat handwriting, has unexpected jokes. Consistently updates schedule.

This guy is one of the worst professors I've had at UMD. He is smart to the point that he doesn't understand the difficulty of material. His test are too long (only takes him 20 mins but the must people in class don't finish). His grading is inconsistent between sections (one TA gave quiz retakes) and he doesn't seem like he will curve. I would NOT recommend taking him.

Pretty good professor, but can be a bit monotone sometimes. He truly wants the best for his students.

Not the best but not the worst. Very quiet and monotone but wants kids to learn. Went to office hours a few times and not the most helpful but is really nice and means well.

Not okay. Can't even hear him in lecture. Writes entire alphabet on blackboard and makes no sense.
