I feel bad for this guy honestly. He seems to know his stuff but he speaks soooo quiety even with a microphone that always has low battery. His markers always seem to be drying out so if you sit in the back not only can you not hear him but you can't even copy down notes for the day. He is a nice dude but a nice dude got me a C despite me being good at math. |

He trys really hard to be a good professor but he falls kinda short. He isn't very confident and speaks very softly (even with microphone). He tries to help you when he can but grading between his TAs was very inconsistent. Each test problem would be graded by a different TA which is normal but it felt like each took their liberties with grading difficulty. Now I'm not generally a D student, and I had a B in this class until the last test and final which were on content he rushed to get through. |

He honestly goes out of his way to help his students. His exams are straightfoward, and he typically follows directly from the textbook. Definitely would take him again. |

This guy is one of the worst professors I've had at UMD. He is smart to the point that he doesn't understand the difficulty of material. His test are too long (only takes him 20 mins but the must people in class don't finish). His grading is inconsistent between sections (one TA gave quiz retakes) and he doesn't seem like he will curve. I would NOT recommend taking him. |

Pretty good professor, but can be a bit monotone sometimes. He truly wants the best for his students. |

Not the best but not the worst. Very quiet and monotone but wants kids to learn. Went to office hours a few times and not the most helpful but is really nice and means well. |
