Sydney Triola INST311 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/03/2023	If I could give this instructor 0 stars, I would. I wouldn't take her at all. She doesn't care about other people well being. Nor does she give proper assistance on assignments, which can lead to the deduction of points on assignments.

Sydney Triola INST311 Anonymous 04/19/2023	I like the content of this class, but the professor has shown me that she does not care about the student's well-being. As someone who endured an unprecedented situation, I requested an extension and she said she was "taken aback" by my email and called my request "inappropriate". All of the reviews are very accurate; do not take this class with this professor.
Sydney Triola INST311 Anonymous 04/18/2023	The absolutely worst professor I have ever had at this University. If you have a chance to not take this class with this professor do not. The fact that all the reviews say she is far left leaning at an already normally liberal college should give you all you need. No mercy on grading. This teacher needs to be up for review her class is so unorganized.
Sydney Triola INST311 Expecting an A Anonymous 04/06/2023	This is a professor who has an air of unvarnished contempt for her students. It comes through in multiple ways but is especially plain when it comes to grading, feedback and advisory meetings. The grading standards are not just applied inconsistent - they are almost completely arbitrary and might as well not exist. At the end of the day, it just feels downright abusive to be in her class. Avoid.
Sydney Triola INST201 Expecting a B+ Anonymous 01/23/2021	The class had so much potential but this professor just really ruined it for everyone. It wasn't even her teaching style; she just graded things without any mercy. Forgot a period? -10 points. Citation off by a single indent? -25 points. Doesn't matter the quality of your writing I bet she wouldn't even read it unless the grammar and punctuation were 100% accurate.
Sydney Triola INST466 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 10/26/2020	Absolutely garbage. Worst professor I have had at this University, hands down. At one point, she gave our paper a 42% because she didn't 'like our idea' even though she gave us a good grade on the rough draft. Complete psycho. Only thing that saved me was spending hours each week on extra credit assignments.
Sydney Triola INST466 Expecting a B Anonymous 02/27/2020	Terrible. One of the worst professors I have ever had in my life. She pushes her agenda on the students and hates when people disagree with her. She corrects students on a daily basis even when she is wrong. She shouldn't be teaching until she learns how to not be biased as hell and push political narratives on all her students. She doesn't deserve a job here. HORRIBLE.
Sydney Triola INST466 Expecting a B Anonymous 01/30/2020	This professor pushes a far-left, social justice agenda and is generally biased to people who may disagree or remain as a "centrist". The professor pushes leftist agenda and constantly speaks about oppression of colored people and women and how technology has harshly affected them. The class is generally easy, but it shows lots of bias in the context of the teachings in the class. Biased news articles are always used as reference points, etc.
Sydney Triola INST466 Expecting a B Anonymous 01/30/2020	Professor carries a far-left social justice political bias, which can be scary. The class is generally easy, but the course is constantly about being oppressed as a person of color and how women are treated the worst. This class is generally easy, but a lot of the research you will deal with will result in backlash due it not fitting her “bias”.
Sydney Triola INST201 Expecting a B Anonymous 12/17/2019	Do not take this class or at least with this teacher. She teaches based on her own political beliefs and if you disagree you will fail. She talks about having an “open and safe room” but if you end up disagreeing with anything she believes in she will correct you to make it her opinion. Every week you get assigned LONG readings that are so dull and dry and then you have to take an online quiz. She makes a huge PowerPoints and reads off the slides every class. Her grading for papers is all over the place and you really never know what you are going to get. No one in my class knew how to do APA citation and would mark everyone off significantly for not doing it. She linked Perdue owl to do the work cited on the class page but when you do it through Perdue owl (which she linked) she would say it isn’t correct APA? This was her first year teaching and it was quite obvious. She had good intentions but failed to properly run a class.
Sydney Triola INST201 Expecting a B- Anonymous 11/24/2019	I took inst201. It was very easy to tell she had favorites in class. Whoever was her favorite didn't have to do much work in the class and always received extra credit on every assignment. She maintains this cheery personality in class, but if you don't cite literally every sentence in your essay, she will say its false.
