Nicholas Hiebert-White Expecting an A Anonymous 05/16/2022	I had Sir Nick as my TA for Calc 140 (with Gulick teaching), and one thing I can say is that this man is a savior. He is the main reason why I got an A in the class. Gulick isn't a bad professor, but he wasn't the greatest professor, where honestly, I found it more beneficial at times to just skip his lecture and study his lecture notes; however, the only reason I was able to do this because I had Nick as my TA. Although a bit awkward at times, he is a very nice person and he made it so that we would all understand whatever topics we were going over (which he would teach us in a way that was easy to understand). Even better, he would hold review sessions before the test, which I found extremely helpful, and I received good test scores because of them. He even coded out a long study guide just to help us for our final exam. I was very happy with my experience with Nick as my TA, and I hope anyone else who has him does as well. Billiards!
Nicholas Hiebert-White Expecting a B+ Anonymous 04/03/2022	Had Nick as a TA for Gulick's Calc I class, and honestly, if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't have passed. Gulick as a professor is decent, but he explains things in a way that is hard to understand as someone that doesn't have nearly as much experience as him. Nick made pretty much all the topics so much easier to understand and was also an all-around nice and funny guy. He always made an effort to make sure everyone understood the topics and even hosted various review sessions prior to exams to help us prepare. I ended up skipping most lectures because of how helpful Nick was. If you ever have Nick as a TA, make the most out of it! He will ensure you succeed in math.
