Worley is super nice and always tries to make the lecture as engaging as she can which is very hard to do when teaching a class filled with tedious and unstimulating content. She is super knowledgeable but not arrogant, so it is never scary to ask her questions about content you don't understand. Her classes were all lectures and there's a lot of note taking which I can see people hating, but I personally did not mind it. The midterm was more physically demanding than mental; hand-writing all the responses made me have to pause multiple times to allow the feeling to return to my hand. Assignments were easy and helped cushion your grade. Lots of extra credit on exams. Overall solid class. |

I took MLAW100 for CPJT program. This course has a lot of good information to learn from it. The class is just doing the readings take notes. Worley made the midterm a lot harder than it needed to be. All that writing for what??? The midterm and final are written exams instead of multiple choice. There 2 online open note quizzes, the reflections and writing assignments are annoying but easy if you just yapp a lot. Oh yea,h there's a final paper and EXAM :(. I don't really feel like I learned anything from her teaching style. & I still don't get why there are 2 finals for this type of class. I would advise actively studying while taking this class because there's much information. But I heard the man who was supposed to teach this class was a lot worse lol(I think his name is coolidge idk). Overall Worley is a nice person. Kind of a mid-grader, but the class is a little annoying with all the readings. Use quizlet and remember the rule of law definition. |
