This class is really easy, make sure to read the directions clearly and stay on-top of optional deadlines for grade boosters (you get a B- if you don't do any of them) because they fill up really quick. The assignments can be really long and tedious (review article is definitely the one that takes the most time) as its a lot of busy work and frankly unnecessary bloat to the class, but she allows you to resubmit multiple times and is very communicative about feedback thats relevant to letting you pass the class. Also the TAs as well are very friendly and communicative as well. The grading policy isn't normal as its contract based (final grade is determined by how much assignments you complete), just make sure to do the work with good effort and this class is a joke. Its even better if you take it asynchronous. |

Do not take her. Unnecessary amount of work for an english class. I had more work in this class then I did in my major classes. I would advise NOT take her. |

it was honestly pretty easy and smooth, she has grade booster assignments that you need to do if you want an A, but other than that, curriculum and grading is fair and easy, just need to put in the effort |

Don't trust the previous reviews, the workload is fair and takes minimal effort. She allows you to resubmit assignments and you just have to put in some effort to attain an A-. Super kind and asynchronous, enjoyed the class! |

idk what the other reviews were saying, but the professor was nice and the workload wasn't too bad as long as you're not lazy. it is a couple assignments a week which do not take too long and she is generous with her grading (gives you multiple attempts as well). i would recommend her 100% and her class is asynchronous which makes it better. |

Terrible professor. Does not care about her students or respect their time at all. This was an asynchronous, 3-credit class, and we had 3-6 hours, sometimes more, of work to do every week. There are 4 major assignments that make up your grade, and if they weren't time-consuming enough, she also posts irrelevant discussions to add on to the course load. We had to write a MINIMUM 18-page research paper in under 2 weeks! Would not recommend at all. Even though she's a generous grader it's not worth the stress and hours upon hours of work per week. Take it with anyone else. The TAs carry this class and grade everything but the final submissions-- they were more active and engaged with the class than the actual prof. Awful, awful professor. |
