Make sure you do all of the assignments on elms, I almost didn't get an A because I forgot to do one of the quizzes. This class was a lot of fun. I'm relatively experienced in weightlifting but Ms. Zimmerman still had tips for how I can do things differently and was super knowledgeable. It was a great environment for beginners because she would help people progress their exercises |

entirely taught by the TA. Once when my TA wasn't there she came in and talked to us about nutrition. really talkative lady but she was nice. kinda annoying that we get points off for being absent, considering there's not that many points making up the class |

The 157N class for weightlifting is fairly new but pretty straight forward and simple. Should be an easy A as long as you show up on time workout and don't leave early. Attendance is mandatory for points. The class block is a little too long but honestly it's great to get a lift session in the private weight room in SPH without the clutter of Eppley. The instructor has a lot of insight and passion so she'll give and teach you cues if you ask. She even works with you if you're recovering from an injury. Some people don't bide well with her enthusiasm because she chats a little long but I'd prefer someone who is friendly and chatty than rude and snappy! Would recommend over most activity courses!! |
