Special Topics in Bioengineering; Advanced Biomaterials

Prerequisite: BIOE453 or Permission of the Fischell Department of Bioengineering. Advanced biomaterials property (viscoelasticity) and its impact on biomedical systems; interactions of proteins and cells (particularly immune and stem cells) with micro, nano, and macroscale biomaterials; and advanced applications of biomaterials for tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, drug delivery, and cancer theranostics.
