Terrible Professor overall. - Really thick accent and difficult to understand. - Does a bunch of practice problems during class that are nowhere near the difficulty of the exam - gets the practice problems wrong half the time because he is bad at math and cannot read his own handwriting - average on the midterm was a 48% and he does not curve our grade until the end of the semester so you don't know what you have - he said the final will be a similar average to the midterm - he said the final is not cumulative all semester but then in the week before the exam he said it will be cumulative. - practice exams given had wrong answers so you dont even know if you are doing anything correctly - exam was unneccarily difficult and i didnt feel like i actually learned anything - I was in the SFF program but it hoenstly just made it a miserable experience because of this class. |

Lecture's get really confusing and it's really hard to understand any simple concept in this class. Though some parts can be helpful, the way lectures are given to students make little to no sense. |

Brilliant Professor who provides high quality lectures that successfully teach. Intriguing and overall light work. |

While Professor Lee is probably one of the most intelligent people I've ever met, he is a horrible lecturer. He often confuses himself during class, leaving the whole class stumped as well. The class average for the midterm was 52%, brought up by the one student who scored in the 90s. The practice midterm and answer keys for quizzes continue to have incorrect answers, leaving students stuck wondering what to do. While the class is supposed to be filled with the brightest finance majors prepping them for a career on Wall Street, I feel that it hurts more than it helps. Even though there is a pretty large curve (supposedly), it is very difficult to actually grasp the topics taught in class. You have to teach yourself almost everything. |

Worst professor I have ever had. Lectures are horrible. He uses someone else's slides and spends all class writing example problems on the board. He then does the problems wrong and says he's bad at math (as a finance professor). His practice midterm had a bunch of wrong answers making it really hard to study properly for the exam. This is supposed to be an accelerated program but is genuinely a horrible experience so far. |

Hilarious lecturer. He waffles the entire class and writes random problems on the board with no cohesion, but its a pretty funny class. |

A very nice teacher but failed to teach the class well. There was little to no structure in his lectures. They consisted of him just writing examples on a whiteboard, often which had intricate mistakes. There was no textbook to reference from, and his slides on ELMS were not helpful. His deep analysis of the mathematics behind each example further confused the students. The class mean on the midterm was a 63.7%, which he claimed "he aimed for". The BMGT340F section is strictly for Sophomore Finance Fellows. It is supposed to be an accelerated course, but honestly just made me want to switch majors. Overall, I do not recommend this professor. He seems brilliant but is clearly inexperienced in teaching an undergraduate class. |

Rich is amazing. Great guy to talk to and he knows his stuff. I would recommend this class over BMGT340. The people who say it is harder just didn't pay attention or try to listen to what he actually had to say. |

Rich is the goat. 10/10. He knows what he's talking about. The case studies sucked but his exams were pretty easy. |

He is a very nice guy but this is easily the worst class I've taken in the business school. He teaches extremely advanced/complex topics before teaching us the basics (not what you expect in the intro Finance class), leaving students with little material learned. He also assigns homework that has very little to do with the class material and the case studies will end up taking your whole weekend when assigned (which providing zero value towards the concepts required for the class). From what I've heard, the other 340 teachers are far better where you will actually learn and be set up well for future upper-level finance courses. On top of that, the grading in those is far fairer and you will be less stressed. |

Take the other 340 professors for your own sanity. The course work with him is far more complex than it should be for the intro finance class and you don't end up learning what you need to for the future courses. He simply gets in front of the class with his slides, starts talking and plugging stuff into formulas, and you unfortunately never end up learning anything. The grades are probably a solid 10-15% (if not more) lower than they would be compared to the other professors. Not to mention, you actually learn with the other professors. |

Nice dude, goes too fast to let him know. Extra credit is helpful, go to TA hours! |
