This class was great! At the beginning, it seemed like a lot with the amount of homework and quizzes each week, but it’s very manageable. There were some classes where I felt like the content could have been explained better, but overall, he wants you to learn in class and challenges you just enough. Also, there’s no final and the optional project (which was easier than the midterm) replaces one of the midterm grades. Extra credit was given in the form of participation. Would definitely recommend! |

She is amazing! She cares about her students and does her best to get to know you/remember everyone's name. She really tries to keep the class interactive and even brings snacks for her students since the class time is kinda long. She's really knowledgeable in what she teaches and make sure her students follow and understand the topics she goes over. She calls on students to solve problems on the board but she will help you if you need. Everyone will get called on so there's no escaping it. The quizzes are typically 4-5 questions but they're are very straight forward if you pay attention in class, and its open notes too. I would definitely take her again. |

Honestly with everything I've heard about other professors, this class is definitely worth taking with him. He's a really nice guy and we're all seniors and after the first exam he said I promise this class won't be the reason anyone doesn't graduate like don't worry if you didn't do well. He's given extra credit and is super lenient with the quiz/project grading so the A's are automatic in that category. I'm taking 6 classes this sem and this one is my favorite, the material is learnable and if you reach out he is willing to help you whenever you need. Man has office hours every single day just in case students need to talk to him that exact day. Great guy |

Her voice tone can be intimidating and harsh, and not going to lie, I did not like her at the beginning. I learnt to appreciate her over time and honestly enjoyed it at the end. Strict with deadlines but through her class I learnt how to persevere and how to discipline myself. I thought I wasn't going to make it at one point but this was the class I performed the best in. Even though this class can be work heavy, I learnt so much from this class and so much about myself, and I am glad I took it with Professor Kiss. She really wants everyone to succeed and has so much experience in the field. Touching story with being a 9/11 survivor as well. |

I don't know why people criticize her on her voice or her tenure. I think she is a very good professor with tons of industry experience that her lecture will be related with her real world experience. Every lecture she tried her best to make the class not boring, and she care about her students by giving detailed exam reviews and sending recordings of her lectures to those who have excused absence (which I believe a lot of people benefited by this a couple of times). Though her lectures can be dry sometimes, and she talks a lot about assignments and events coming up, but her lectures are easy to follow and understand. Moreover the exam problems are mostly based on her exam reviews therefore making the course very easy; think about it, other instructors won’t spend extra time to do this – but she did – so she still care a lot on her students. And I strongly agree with “Go to class, do the assignments, study for test, and an A will not be hard to get.” Btw her husband Steven is a very nice and funny person as well. |

She's not the most entertaining professor out there, but she explains everything very well, is extremely nice, and has tons of experience. She really wants everyone to do well in her class. Her class is made of two exams each worth 32% or 33%, a group presentation, case studies (or ProBanker, if in the Fellows sections), and homework. Her reviews will prepare very well for the exams, since she will tell you exactly want is going to be in them. Usually, they consist of a few multiple choices, short answers, and problems, which are not too bad. Overall, I enjoyed the class, because I have an interest in the field, and an A is not really difficult to get. If you take her class, I'm sure you won't regret it!!! |

She is definitely here as a result of tenure. Don't get me wrong, she is a very sweet lady and really wants her students to succeed. She is definitely very knowledgeable about banking and is a great resource if you are going in that field. Her class consists of homework,a group presentation, a group case study, and 2 exams worth 33% each. Her classes are brutally boring and she even admits to using some of the same slides from 20 years ago. She is unfortunately a boring teacher and is all over the place. Luckily, her exam reviews and homework will adequately prepare you for her exams, she will act like they are a mystery, but trust me, they are predictable. I guess I have mixed feelings about whether or not you should take her. Getting an A is not too difficult if you study, but if you are looking for a superb professor keep searching. |

One of the best teachers in the business school. She cares about her students, and displays 100% effort in teaching finance and banking. As long as you go to class, you will learn a lot. She is extremely knowledgeable. |

Professor Kiss is the argument against tenure for teachers. Her class is painfully hard to follow and she doesn't even go over her slides. Her technique on teaching is tell a story and then run over 9 slides without saying anything except this slide will be on the exam. Whatever finance students can do to not take this class with her will bode well for your education. |

Nice guy. He didnt care about attendance so a lot of ppl didnt show up. Midterm and final only, both mirror the practice one he puts up. Do pay attention on the review day to all "you should know" cuz it'll be there. Can be good or bad for you, depends. |

Professor Malmquist is the man. All he grades you on are a midterm and a final and he lets you know exactly what is on them so he is very helpful. Tries to keep lecture interesting even though you really don't need to go. Highly recommend him. Got an A in the class. |
