The role of bacteria and fungi in the diseases of humans with emphasis upon the differentiation and culture of microorganisms, types of disease, modes of disease transmission, prophylactic, therapeutic, and epidemiological aspects. (Sponsoring Dept.: CBMG). Acceptable toward Biological Sciences Specialization Areas: MICB and GENB (Category 2). Students must pay a $40.00 laboratory materials fee.
