Soyoung Bae COMM307 Expecting an A Anonymous 10/10/2024	She honestly cares about her students' success and it shows. The reason she makes everyone attend class, not turn in late work, and take notes on paper is because she honestly believes it will help her students. Overall, she's super kind and understanding. For example, she will give examples until something makes sense in class, will meet with students whenever they need, and gives the best exam review I've been to. Her exams are super straightforward, so if you attend the exam review, you're going to do really well on the exam. She's also a good grader and doesn't take points off unless she has to. If you're okay with going to class, writing notes on paper, and turning work in on time, you're gonna love her because she's so nice.
Yan Qu COMM307 Expecting a B+ ocheyn 05/09/2024	Not the worst professor I've had, but also not the greatest. Super friendly, but lectures and assignments are very dense and he is kind of a picky grader about some things. Granted this is a research class so its dense to begin with, and the assignments and lectures are very organized, but I struggled with the information and projects the whole semester. You do work on a semester long research assignment with the same group that is randomly assigned. He is very accessible outside of class though!
