Economic Statistics

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C- in ECON200, ECON201, and ECON300. MATH241 plus any statistics course can be used in place of ECON300. Restriction: Must be in Economics Bachelor of Science program. Introduction to the use of statistics in economics. Topics include: Probability, random variables and their distributions, sampling theory, estimation, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, regression analysis and correlation.
