Karen Nelson ENGL403 Expecting an A Anonymous 04/25/2024	Dr. Nelson is AMAZING! Take every class you can take with her. She is so passionate about teaching and it shows. She's a lenient grader, is super understanding so you can ask for extensions and doesn't punish late work. Her assignments can be worded weirdly, but they're still fairly easy. In class, she does a lot of interactive activities, less lectures, and is absolutely open to ideas from the class on what you want to study/talk about. She absolutely made me want to go to class and talk to her. She's so giggly too. Such a slay.
Kim Coles ENGL403 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/05/2023	Dr. Coles is really passionate about Shakespeare, which is cool because most people aren't. She really needs people to participate in class, so definitely read and talk when she asks questions because she will get frustrated if you don't. The class is fairly simple, with about 4 essays total but a lot of reading, as in a new play every week, so be prepared for that. She definitely knows her stuff, and our conversations were really interesting. She just has a quirky personality and hates awkward silence, so do your best to avoid that and you'll be fine.
