Class is boring as all hell, but Dr. P-Z seems to care a lot about it. I think I would enjoy it if it were my first time learning it, but there is strong overlap with BSCI 160 and ENST 233, so I'm just tired of it. Exams are really chill, only two of them. You have to go to discussions because they are one of the main graded assignments for the class. Dr. P-Z is a nice guy and approachable, willing to give you an extension if needed, but he's pretty bad at answering emails. You will make it through this class no problem.

Great professor. Lots of real life examples. Exams were pretty easy, final project was a research paper on your chosen topic, which could be a famous ecologist, ecology principle, or research proposal. Pretty easy course if you go to class and prep for discussion.

Dr. P-Z is super nice and apporachable. The class content and grading structure is straight forward and he tries to make it as easy as possible. Currently taught asynchronous lectures with synchronous discussion sections. The concepts overlap with BSCI207 if you are an ecosystem health concentration.
